My name is Highlight / Starlight (Guests)!

Dear Animal Lovers,

This is Starlight! Highlight and I have written this together. Our names are Highlight and Starlight, bonded sisters, who are now 2 years old. We are not sure how we did this, but we made our way into our human’s garden by flying over the garden fence at just 3 months old. Our mom, Moonlight, who is feral, trusted the humans enough to bring us over as soon as we graduated to eating on our own. We still see our mom every day, too, since our human rescue mom fell in love with her. Our brother Twilight was adopted and we just can’t wait for our own “Adoption Day” to come along, too. 

Although we are both a tad shy until we get to know our humans (like most kitties), our only real requests are that we much prefer having all 4 paws on the ground and that you give us the chance to come to you! If it weren’t for our amazing rescue mom, we would never have blossomed into wonderful, loving kitties – we just love our routines of being petted, window-gazing and playing together! 

We have different personalities too: Highlight wants to be close to you, is gentle, and will curl up on the bed at night (often we will do so together!). She relies on me to give her confidence, but will also go to her human for regular petting sessions! I, on the other hand, am a little more independent and confident, but love giving head butts and getting chin rubs. As much as we are different, we love being together. We are unique and loving sisters who just want to feel safe, loved and accepted for who we are. In return, we will shower you with purrs, appreciation, and endless entertainment. 

If I say so myself, we are both very playful and are wonderful to watch. It is exciting learning how to engage with the world around us. Lots of cat trees please, soft blankets and furry little toys!! We’ve also been told that our unique singing voices at meal times, are wonderful to listen to!

We are excited to continue down the next path in our lives and can’t wait to find that special human who has enough room in their home and heart to do so with us. 

We, Highlight and Starlight, are 100% vetted; fixed, up to date on rabies and distemper vaccinations, disease tested, dewormed, and flea treated.
