My Story

To be considered for adopting a dog from Canine Lifeline, you must have an approved application must be on file. Please visit http://www.caninelifeline.org/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application.

KENNEDY HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING. Kennedy is a super-cute little Heinz-57 puppy who was born on Nov 18. Her mom Lacey came to us a week before as a very pregnant stray from a shelter and, after a week in her foster home, gave birth to Kennedy and her 7 brothers and 1 sister. Lacey is a small dog at only about 20 pounds and a very sweet and loving girl who took great care of her pups. Her breed mix is anyone’s guess but she may have some Beagle and Terrier in the mix. Since we have no idea who dad is, it’s hard to predict how big Kennedy will be once full-grown. She weighed 6.2 pounds on 1-18-18 when she was about 9 weeks old. Kennedy is currently enjoying life in a foster home along with 5 of her brothers and 1 sister. She has been living with a large dog and some kitties too so is used to being around both. Kennedy is a very curious, outgoing girl who loves to play. Her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations for his age including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email [email protected] if you’re interested in Kennedy. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there. Please visit our website at www.caninelifeline.org to see more photos of Kennedy, her mama Lacey, and to submit an online application.
